What our team has to say

“For me, working at Little City has really cemented the idea that you should never judge a book by its cover. I get to show up every day and advocate for a population that is unfairly labeled. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing a client achieve something that they did not think they could do.”

– Stanley, Senior Residential Specialist

“I love the unique setup of Little City’s campus; I get to see them first thing in the morning and walk them to school. Then I get to see them at the end of their day and walk them home from school. I’m grateful because not many social workers get to have this experience.”

– Breann, Social Worker

The Little City Difference

Little City is a special place, and we believe our mission, culture and benefits set us apart. Here are just a few of the things that make us unique.

Our

Culture

We believe making a difference only happens when we work as a team, so we facilitate an organizational culture of care, support and togetherness. This is both for the people we serve and the people we work with, because we recognize this work can be difficult. However, we prioritize lifting each other up and helping in any way we can to make sure our mission is fulfilled.

Our

Benefits

Investing in our team is important, and if you work at Little City, we provide opportunities to learn new skills and grow in your career. From certifications to opportunities to trying new career paths, we want you to explore new ways to serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Not to mention, we offer higher wages than similar organizations and generous PTO.

A community of care

We won’t lie: this work isn’t always easy. We serve people who have a wide variety of disabilities, which requires patience, compassion and a determination to care for them well. If you have these traits, we would love to have you on our team!
