Vice President of Facilities & Transportation for Little City

Mark Burrage

Mark Burrage serves as Vice President of Facilities & Transportation for Little City, overseeing the main campus and dozens of facilities throughout the Chicagoland area.

Mark brings a wealth of experience to the department, having previously served as the assistant superintendent of park services at Dundee Township Park District. In his role at Little City, Mark supervises the maintenance and safety of the roughly 50 buildings Little City owns and operates including administrative offices throughout Chicagoland, community-based homes, and the 56-acre main campus in Palatine. Mark also assists in the future planning for campus expansion and renovation.

Mark joined Little City in October of 2023 as Director of Facilities and under his leadership Little City’s environmental and transportation needs have improved significantly, with continued demand for ongoing work that needs to be done.

Mark is no stranger to leading big departments, having experience with park districts, school districts as well as sports and entertainment facility management throughout his career.

Getting to contribute to a cause that helps so many people is one of Mark’s favorite aspects of his job. But his service to the community does not stop at Little City. Mark is also a passionate supporter of helping children get involved in STEAM and robotics programs. He continues to volunteer as a coach for the First Technical Challenge team in Elgin and helps students gain access to technical education and programming.

Mark Has a Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Project Management from DeVry University in Chicago.
