Annette Towne has experienced everything there is to do as a DSP at Little City. During her 13 years at Little City, Annette has worked at the Little City Center for Education, in the adult residential homes, and in the day program where she currently serves at the Countryside Center. While some DSPs work with certain participants or in certain classrooms, Annette has the chance to move around and work with essentially every person at Countryside. Being able to interact and connect with so many people has been the best part of her experience in the day program as her previous work as a DSP generally had her limited to fewer people.
“I love what I do. I get million-dollar hugs every day. Just seeing the joy on people’s faces every day makes it worth it. I just try to be supportive and play whatever small part I can in helping them reach their goals. We have a great team here and it really helps this place feel like a family.”
While Annette brings smiles to all around her, Brian has an especially big smile and big hug for Annette every time he sees her. She said she always enjoys working with Brian and he always has an eagerness and joy to try new things and see new places.

Thank you, Annette, for creating such bright days for so many people at Little City!
